Anita Emoff, Chairman
As Chairman and Owner of Boost Engagement, Anita oversees operations and sets the example for a driven, positive culture for the company. Her passionate personality brings out the best in our organization and our staff. Both Anita and her husband Michael have been critical leaders in designing new technology solutions for our clients. With over 20 years of sales and management experience, Anita has led Boost Rewards to become one of the 50 Fastest Growing Women-Owned Businesses in the world (2011-2016).
Anita was designated as MVP with the National Association of Women; recognized as a “Rising Star” by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) in 2010; included in The Counselor’s Hot List for 2011 and was selected as a 2014 Dayton Business Journal’s Bizwomen Power 50.
Anita volunteers her time with the United Way and is a supporter of Daybreak, an emergency shelter for runaway and homeless youth, as well as the American Heart Association as 2014 co-chair of the Dayton area Heart Gala. Most recently, Anita joined the Air Force Museum Foundation Board to inform and educate the public of the important role of the United States Air Force in the nation’s defense.
Dawn Conway, CEO
Dawn is responsible for overall corporate leadership and execution of all brands within the portfolio. Dawn is the former Chief Operating Officer of Cision, where she led sales, marketing, finance, analysis, research and content acquisition to drive the overall strategic vision for North America. Prior to joining Cision in 2012, Dawn held key leadership positions over a 20 year career within LexisNexis in corporate responsibility, global licensing, business development, sales and marketing.
Dawn is an attorney and current member of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals, and a member of the American Bar Association Anti Human Trafficking Task Force. She is is a frequent speaker on the role of business in combating human trafficking and is the co-author of Doing Well by Doing Good “CSR for Bars” published in the Spring 2012 Bar Leader Magazine, an ABA publication.
Dawn is passionate about the arts and served on the Board of Trustees for the Dayton Art Institute and is a past member of the Board of Directors of Culture Works.
Michael Emoff, Chief Vision Officer
Michael is a third generation co-owner of Shumsky, founded in 1953 by his grandparents, Hy and Elsie Shumsky. Michael developed the concept for Boost Rewards® in 2005, utilizing web technology to deliver effective employee recognition programs. He has been recognized as a global expert in the field of recognition and reward programs, holds over 25 patents for products used in the recognition and promotional industry. He has also been an integral part of developing and managing Shumsky Therapeutic Pillows and Outta the Box Dispensers, LLC.
Michael is a member of the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) Editorial Advisory committee, serves on the Board of Trustees as Chairman for the United States Air and Trade Show, the Board of Trustees for the Miami Valley Hospital Foundation, the Board of Trustees for the Alzheimer’s Association, the Board of Directors of The Peernet Group and the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association of SW Ohio.
Joe Drayer, Vice President
Joe is the Vice President of Boost Rewards and Ignite, leading a team of smart creatives in the effort to connect employees to their work, their team members, and their company. Prior to Boost Rewards, Joe led Sales Strategy for LexisNexis focusing on the identification and development of opportunities to increase organizational productivity and revenue. Since 2015, Joe has been a lecturer and adjunct instructor with the University of Dayton – School of Business.
Joe received his Bachelor of Science in Business, Economics from Wright State University and his MBA from The University of Dayton. He holds professional certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB).
In addition, Joe serves on various not-for-profit advisory boards volunteers and as Den Leader with The Boy Scouts of America. In his free time, Joe is an outdoor enthusiast and triathlete.
